Step 4....blocks

It finally stopped raining enough for the guys to do the block work.

Step 3.....pour concrete

After all the rain we have been getting, they were finally able to pour the concrete on Friday. The workers arrived before we left in the morning & Nolen really wanted to stay & watch. I'm so glad the project is well under way. Looking forward to the kids having their own rooms. Alexis is already picking out her new bedding & decorations for her room. I asked her about Nolen's room & she said to decorate it in camouflage.

Step 2....brick removal

The bricks are starting to come off of the south end of the house. They seem to come out pretty easily. Pete even talked me into removing one. Nolen wanted to help, so he picked up the bricks and stacked them off to the side.

Softball Opening Ceremonies were finally held this Saturday. Due to the weather, they held it in the High School Gym. I was too far away to get a good snap shot, but did get a good one of Alexis & her best friend. They are not on the same team, should be interesting when they play against each other.
